Significant renovations were needed in 1995 due to rotting front (road side) windows and woodworm in the panelling. The opportunity was taken to restore the pews from their numerous coats of dark varnish (you stuck to them in the summer!) to the original pitch pine colour. A complete redecoration was also done and we even went for the "luxury" of a carpet. Much of the work was undertaken by members with professional assistance as necessary.
