A church is not it’s building but it’s people.
Union Chapel was the first place of worship on Combe Down for the residents and the workers. It was built in 1815 and is a Grade 2 listed building.
Over the years the members have demonstrated the strength of their faith in many ways.

The main chapel was enlarged a century ago and further improved to provide today’s pleasant place of worship. A more recent addition has been a pool enabling us to baptise believers in Jesus Christ. Adjoining rooms and halls have been built at various times to provide more facilities for the church.
Union Chapel is not a historical monument but a place of activity and the centre of our church life.
